The Woods of North America – Murphy here again, sooner than planned. But there was so much heard at Portland and afterwards that I just had to share. I have to tell you that ole Murphy was pretty excited that his first column was published at Portland. The Bear tippled a bit of Chardonnay – settling for a plastic cup – after the race.

The Woods of North America – This is my first column, so I’ll introduce myself. I’m Murphy H. Bear, and I’ve been hanging around this American Le Mans Series gig since Laguna Seca last year.
In the interest of earning my keep (and because I admit I’m a little tired of that orange runt getting all the pub), I’m planning to give you some of those little insights that we get around here that don’t make it into our regular stories. I’ve got my credentials, so I’m all set to get to work.
Don’t look here for great prose, I’m just going to say it and move on. And if you’re touchy, you can move on – the bear tells it as he sees (or hears) it.
