The Woods of North America – Murphy here, back from the beautiful moraine country of Wisconsin. To be honest, I can’t think of a better use of such lovely real estate than for a race track – unless, of course, it’s for bear habitat!
On the way over, I got to ride in the back seat of a pretty little BMW 325xi named Prancer, through places named “Colby,” “Kaukauna,” and of course near the track, “Johnsonville.” Yum! Nice state, Wisconsin, if you like beer, cheese, brats – and bars that open at six ay em for a cocktail before church, that is. Of course if you’re a race engineer, you can spell that “brots” if you like. Cows! California may be pushing its cheesy “Happy Cows” ads, but have you noticed the grass is brown? I would think the bovine set would much better appreciate the nice green stuff. I’ll have to ask them sometime, if they’ll quit stampeding whenever I try to get close. Anyway, I’ve been seeing these strange creatures for a few years now, and finally Heidi got a picture. Strange huh? Cows marked like a Cheshire pig! Or maybe those are racing stripes? Racing cows…well, I guess if one of the recent Disney offerings was about a racing Zebra, why not?
