Murphy had a heck of a season.
He started it off at Sebring in January, for Wheels Down. Memories will include something of an F1 reunion at the lobby bar of the Chateau. A get-together with friends at Chicanes, after all these seasons, still a highlight for the Bear.
It was back for the race in March. The new Acuras surprised. Murphy went down to the pits in that last hour and there was Michael, his boys in the class lead and with a clutch problem. Michael on a stool. Michael’s got a nervous foot. Twitch, twitch. (more…)
